National Weather Service Midland/Odessa Texas
1157 am CDT Sat Mar 20 2010

Update...
winds picking up late this morning possibly in association with precipitation
in the north.

&&

Discussion...
still fairly widespread 4mb/100nm mslp gradient in place and with
light precipitation moving through the north-NE County warning forecast area winds have increased. Have
opted to send update to increase winds especially north and east where
gusts to 40-45 miles per hour expected for a few more hours.

&&

Aviation...
after a windy afternoon and widespread MVFR ceilings conditions will
improve. Visible imagery indicates clouds are to clear during the
afternoon and will generally be a cloud free overnight...other
than a few high clouds across the N-NE. North winds of 15-25kts will
subside by early evening and fall below 10kts shortly around 00z.
Northwest component sun in wake of upper low.

&&

Maf watches/warnings/advisories...
nm...none.
Texas...none.
