front currently moving across Alabama into southern Mississippi 
and extreme southeast Louisiana. Visible satellite imagery shows 
trailing stratus deck across the southern zones. 


Updated the grids for sky cover...temperature...and moisture values 
as clouds move out from the south and a few scattered clouds move 
into mc curtain County. In light of cold air advection...have 
lowered maximum temperatures over the eastern and southern zones. 


Winds will remain strong for another few hours across eastern Louisiana 
but are expected to remain below lake Wind Advisory criteria.

Aviation... 


The trailing edge of lower clouds around 15 hundred to 25 hundred 
feet...behind the cold front that moved through overnight and 
early Thursday...just about to clear the southern most zones of 
the four state region. By the 04/18z issuance the clouds will be 
thinning and VFR conditions will exist area wide. For the next 24 
hours will have VFR conditions region wide. Winds will remain 
north to northeast with speeds of 10 to 17 knots with higher gusts 
to near 22 knots for parts of deep East Texas and across lower 
northwest and north central Louisiana until around 05/00z when 
speeds drop off to 5 to 9 knots. As the large high pressure system 
over the central and Southern Plains drifts southeast winds will 
gradually lower overnight then return to 5 to 10 knots for 05/15z 
to 05/21z. Expecting middle level clouds around 10 kft to spread 
across parts of southeast Oklahoma...extreme northeast Texas...and 
southwest Arkansas through 05/04z with high clouds around 25 kft 
spreading west to east over the four state region after 05/04z to 
0510z and remaining broken to overcast through most of the day
